How many of you feel that you’ve been let down time and time again by brands whose eye creams, serums and gels don’t end up working all because of their brilliant marketing and packaging? For instance, you’re on the net and you see an advertisement that are your exact indications such as puffy and dark circled raccoon eyes and how they are magically erased in before and after pictures. I’m sure a lot work too, because I know there are good products and cutting edge ingredients out there having been in this business so long and have tried so many brands and products it would make your head spin. But more often than not, I’m less than thrilled, which is probably why you don’t see me write about eye products very often. I have to be blown away to even suggest one to you guys or any of my friends or family.

I have to tell you it finally happened. I am blown away! I started using Canyon Ranch Brightness Eye Cream and wow, what a difference a sample makes! I had received a bunch of samples of it and my girlfriend happened to be over who is a complete eye cream junky so I just sort of thought ah what the heck I’ll give half of them to her. I figured even though I knew Canyon Ranch was a top of the line, very effective, professional spa line it would still be another eye cream that probably wouldn’t make me shout for joy. Not to mention you should have seen Deb’s face when I gave her all those samples. She looked like she had just won a new car or something.

A few days later I was packing a light bag to take a quick one hour flight and return in a couple of days so I just wanted to take a carry on. I grabbed all my samples (so the airline wouldn’t make me check on my larger sized jars, etc) and chose three or four of each steps of my regimen. I took some cleansers, scrubs, vitamin C packets, some moisturizers with SPF and those Canyon Ranch eye creams.

I used the eye cream with my bedtime regimen that first night I got to my sister’s house. The next morning I noticed really pretty eyes and believe me,  I do not normally wake up with a pretty eye area. Usually I have puffiness and dark circles that are so prominent I look like a belong in a loony bin. However, that next morning my eye area really looked good. I used it again after that morning shower in my daytime regimen and again, almost instantly my eyes looked great! They were seriously luminous. I realized then and there I had stumbled onto something terrific. An eye cream that really did what it said it would. And not only over a long length of time, but quickly as well. I bought a jar and have been happy and bright eyed ever since.

After I realized that Deb had never said anything about her samples I just thought, “Hmmm, maybe the results are different for everyone and she just wasn’t as thrilled as I was.” But curious anyway, I gave her a call and asked her about them. I told her I had the best results ever and it had been a couple of weeks and she had never called me to tell me what she thought about the product. The little devil replied with, “Oh my gosh, Karen, I love it so much but I was worried if I told you, you would keep the other half of those samples!”
