We don’t touch upon the feet all that often here on Beauty Research but I thought I’d talk about a little foot problem that I have: dry rough skin and horrible calluses caused by years of running, martial arts and step aerobics. Sometimes my calluses are so bad that they are painful in my shoes.

Recently I started using Glytone Ultra Heel and Elbow Cream. You may remember my glowing review on the KP Kit. I figured since I have had so much success with the kit, I would try the heel and elbow cream.

What a difference it has made! I take a bath at night and after my bath, I slather the cream onto my dry, roughened areas. Now while I certainly can’t say my feet are pristine, I have seen a real reduction in the roughened, callused areas. My shoes feel like they fit better and my workouts are no longer painful on the feet.

For as long as I can remember one of the best skincare brands on the market has always been MD Forte.

I had forgotten all about this great line until this morning when I was picking up a prescription at my pharmacy and noticed they had a little locked acrylic cabinet with MD Forte displayed. It reminded me of not only how love that brand but also reminded me of how professional it really is. I rarely buy products because of their names or packaging. Well maybe I’m a slight sucker for packaging! LOL Especially if it’s perfume but that makes sense to me. After all perfume is often placed on dressers or bathroom counters for display and easy access.

But a couple of weeks ago I have to say I gravitated towards a skincare brand just because I liked the name. I just felt like the name spoke volumes.
