It seems once we all got a taste (for lack of a better word) of how nice our complexion and makeup finish looks after using a facial primer…we can no longer live without it. And it does make all the sense in the world that in order to achieve the perfect finish... it would require the perfect prep. Just ask any painter or artist and I’m sure they would wholeheartedly agree.

Stila Liquid Foundation Illuminating 20 Watts is a lightweight and silky smooth makeup and Philosophy Supernatural Air Brushed Canvas SPF 15 imparts a luminous radiant look and is ideal for sensitive skin. They are by far my two favorites for a flawless finish. I purchase my Philosophy Foundation from SkinStore.com and my Stila Foundation from Beauty.com. However, both websites offer both brands. Both are brilliant and I’ve found that when I use either one, I never fear of stumbling into less than perfect lighting!

Now for the really important piece that makes any foundation look both glamorous and dynamic… The ultimate primer! Primer is the key to getting the canvas (or in this case…face) prepped for a superior foundation finish. I head straight for Fusion Beauty PrimeResults Anti Wrinkle Primer! I love this particular product because not only does it prime the skin beautifully for my makeup in terms of a polished and lasting finish, it also lifts and firms the skin. Fine lines and wrinkles are diminished, skin is tightened and texture is improved both immediately and cumulatively. It’s amazing for both under makeup as described but may also be used alone.
