Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about ways to get the most out of professional injectibles, laser, and other cosmetic procedures and surgery. Then all of a sudden out of the blue I started reading some of my new dermatology and aesthetic magazines that were featuring some of the same thoughts as I had been having. And then yesterday, my sidekick Gina wrote about three great new products which help with the exact same issue as well. I guess my grandiose idea is the same thought most everyone else in the beauty business is having as well.

Extending the life of your professional treatments whether they’re injectables such as Botox or fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane and Radiesse makes all the sense in the world to me and seems to work quite nicely. Like any beauty treatment or many medical procedures (in order to maintain results or even prolong them) it seems quite prudent to take good care of them. Additionally, just because one may have had injections to reduce the appearance of deep folds and wrinkles…it doesn’t mean their skin’s overall appearance is going to look all that much better. However, those professional treatments will look superb if the overall texture is being improved simultaneously with a proper and individualized skin care regimen.
