Spiced Up Skin Care (Part Two)

As stated in last week’s part one of our Spiced Up Skin Care article I noted that due to the number of spices and spiced infused skin care products that needed to be addressed, the series would have to be three parts. Today I share with you part two. Part Two of Spiced Up Skin Care focuses on three more spices used in beauty and skin care.

Turmeric is known for its powerful antioxidant properties and for its ability to soothe the skin due to its anti-inflammatory benefits. Turmeric is ideal for use in anti-aging skin care because it’s so potent in terms of fighting free-radical damage. Alchimie Forever Nd YAG Antioxidant Skin Repair Gel is the ideal choice for both soothing and moisturizing the skin as well as protecting it from environmental stressors which are known to cause pre-mature aging of the skin.

Turmeric is also being researched for treating or slowing down the cellular growth of particular types of skin cancer.

Thyme is used in many toners, astringents and clarifiers. Known for its antioxidant, antifungal and antiviral properties its ideal for topical preparations for the treatment of problematic skin. SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel is a customer favorite for soothing and calming their irritated skin promoting a clearer and much more refined complexion. SkinCeuticals Products and skinceuticals skin care offer many other potent and effective antioxidant topicals such as C E Ferulic and Phloretin CF.

Clove which has long been known for its numbing effects on a sore tooth also contains antimicrobial properties making it ideal for skin care products for the treatment of acne and effective clarifying. Detoxify, soothe and treat skin imperfections and fight bacteria with SAMPAR Prodigal Pen Blemish Corrector. The SAMPAR skin care pen is said to be highly effective and boasts five stars from users for its anti-seborrheic, anti-inflammatory and disinfecting properties. Sampar reviews are consistently high for many Sampar products.
