    Mineral Makeup

Everyone is talking about mineral makeup these days. The only line I have tried is Colorescience. Does anyone have experience with other brands? Is it true that you can actually sleep wearing mineral makeup?

I don't think it's good to sleep in any kind of make up. You should always wash your face before going to sleep at night. Your skin rejuvenates itself at night, so it is best to not have your make up on when you go to bed.

Since I have a drier skin type, I don't really care for the mineral make up powders. I prefer a liquid mineral make up. The one that I like the most is Illuminare. It give a great finish and look to the skin. The Fantastic Finish is the most moisturizing of all the make ups. The only thing I don't like is the don't have my specific shade so I have to mix the Amalfi Alabaster with the Portofino Porcelain. Another thing I like is you don't have to use more than a pea sized amount of the product to cover your entire face. One tube lasts for approximately 75 applications and the product is very inexpensive compared to other make up brands.
