    Blue Light Therapy

I was watching an episode of "10 years Younger" on TLC and saw an acne sufferer who received blue light therapy at a dermatologist's office. The doctor said that the therapy shrinks oil glands and therefore reduces acne breakouts for up to nine months. Does anyone have experience with this therapy? I'd like to know how effective it is, how much it costs and who is offering this treatment.

I'm not sure how much a Blue Light Therapy would cost in a dermatologist's office, but I did see this cool take home device on SkinStore.com's web site. It's by a brand called Ageless Beauty and the device is called the Mini Marvel. The take home device uses blue light therapy as well and it's something that you don't have to keep going into a dermatologist's office for. The good thing about LED light therapy is there is absolutely no down time.
