    Eyes

I recently discovered that I have been applying my eye cream incorrectly. Apparently, it's important not to apply most eye creams to the lid of the eye since the product will actually get into the eye and irritate. Apply to the orbital, just below the eye brow, the edge of the eye and below. This will keep it out. Has anyone had eye problems as the result of product?

    Re: Eyes

Eye creams should always be used as directed. There are a few that are indicated for use on eyelid, however, use caution with those as well. I would follow the general outline described above.

Great point about using eye creams as directed. You might think, "who needs directions, it's eye cream!" But our delicate eyelids are very thin, and eye creams do tend to spread once absorbed into the skin. Even if a cream is indicated for use on the eyelids, you may want to reduce the risk of irritation and not apply any lower than your brow bones.

I have to admit... I am one of those that applies the eye cream a little lower than my brow bone, but I do not have sensitive skin.

I would have to say my favorite eye products right now are the SkinCeuticals Eye Renewal Gel and the B.Kamins Eye Cream (I prefer the pump vs the jar). The SkinCeuticals Eye Renewal Gel contains a low percentage of AHA which helps to exfoliate, and then I apply the B.Kamins on top. My eye area not only looks good, it feels great!
