Facial Products on the Body – Beneficial or Wasteful?

Just like many discoveries (scientific, medical, and other breakthroughs) which were brought about via mistakes or happenstance, many great beauty tips and ideas have been discovered accidentally as well. One in particular that I happened upon myself was that of an impromptu use of some facial products due to forgetting to pack my body products on a recent trip. After getting out of the shower and opening my train case I discovered I had forgotten to pack body lotion. All I had were several facial creams and treatments and being that my skin is so dry I had no choice but to use them on my body in order to stay comfortable.

What resulted via this potentially expensive mistake was dramatic and turned out to be a blessing in disguise. By using these smaller yet typically more expensive facial products on my body I found that I reaped the benefits tenfold. The precious ingredients used in certain facial products tend to be of higher quality and much more indication specific and results oriented and for me ended up working better on the skin of my body than they did for my face. Or possibly worked better due to the fact that the skin of my body had rarely ever been exposed to the strength of these particular ingredients.

I noticed that by the time I had returned home to my normal body products, the skin of my body looked much firmer, brighter, more toned and less spotted. I now buy large sizes of many of my favorite beauty creams and treatments so that I can spread the wealth more often.

There are three brands in particular that you may want to consider using as your co-face and body treatments, depending on your concerns. Kinerase, StriVectin and Perricone MD all offer extremely results oriented anti-aging skin care and all offer large sizes of many of their treatments, lotions and creams. I hope if you decide to experiment with this little unexpected finding of mine, that you’re just as impressed as I am!

Channing Tatum-Will Male Exotic Dancing Make a Comeback?

Since I like to think of myself as a professional in terms of journalism I’d be remiss to not do a complete and thorough assessment and research on the subject and article I’m about to embark on. Therefore I felt it my duty to learn everything I can about the art and entertainment of male exotic dancing. ;) So of course I had to take the proverbial plunge and go see the latest Channing Tatum movie called Magic Mike. The movie is partly based upon the actual life of the early years of Tatum and his experiences he encountered as a 19 year old male stripper in Tampa.

Thirty-two year old Channing Mathew Tatum has a long and impressive resume as well as a very interesting life. He is an actor, producer, dancer, formal model and has appeared in many movies such as Step Up (2006), Dear John (2010), 21 Jump Street (2012) and the most recent film, Magic Mike. Tatum grew up in Mississippi and spent his teenage years in Florida where he was considered a stellar athlete. After high school he moved to Virginia to play football on an athletic scholarship but dropped out and returned home and started working a variety of jobs. It was around then that he started working as a stripper and then shortly after was discovered by a talent scout who felt he could be a model…and the rest of course is history.

The “easy-on-the-eyes” actor is married to actress Jenna Dewan and the two collaborate on producing film and media. When asked about his past (which includes dancing, modeling, and of course acting) he seems to feel very blessed, saying that it has helped both his life and his family’s.

I’m not sure how or if this recent film release about the life and times of a male exotic dancer and all the stories that go along with it will bring about a rebirthing of the huge 80’s male exotic dancing era….but if there are any Channing Tatum look-a-likes out there who become male strippers, this journalist has to emphatically say… it certainly couldn’t hurt!
